I am a journalist based in Brazil with over 8 years of experience in political communication, working as a professional and as a volunteer for feminist and human rights organizations. Currently working with the political parties, social movements, and civil society organizations of Brazil Popular Front (Frente Brasil Popular), a platform fighting for people’s rights, as a communications coordinator for the state of Minas Gerais. As a freelance reporter, I’ve published articles in major news organizations in Brazil such as Uol and Brasil de Fato.
I served as a parliamentary advisor to Congresswoman MarĂlia Campos (Worker’s Party – MG), chairwoman of the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais’ Women’s Rights Defense Committee. Also served as a parliamentary advisor to Congresswoman Beatriz Cerqueira (Worker’s Party – MG), chairwoman of the Education, Science and Technology Committee.
